Passionate Souls, Required by All

Extra mile is need of the day; wherein all of us are expected and required to do and work beyond the ordinary, think out od box, and do something that was not thought of or not considered, and produce extra results or satisfaction. This principle is not just true for work, but at relations, communities, social groups and client servicing. But we'd be able to walk this impressive extra miles only when we make ourselves capable of them, or comfortable for them.

If you're wondering everyone's capable and comfortable for them, then why isn't everyone doing so? the reason is simple, We are so busy in our daily chores, activities, tasks, that we are unable to find the time for something that is beyond ordinary, something that can change the world. Sometimes, the great ideas are never worked upon, leading to the situation as good as no good idea ever occurred!

There's only one way to go beyond pre-accepted realms, and exceed expectations, which is to work on your dreams, to be passionate about what you do, and do what you are passionate about! Challenge the ordinary and existing standards, go beyond ordinary! When you are passionate about something, or stay with someone who is passionate enough you'll start talking their words, and people will start talking yours. Don't let yourselves be bogged down by the dogma or challenges, but rise above them. Challenge the challenges, making them aware you are the challenge for them and not they for you!, when this happens, there would be no looking back!

Many of us want to change the world and leave our mark here, but almost everyone of us is trapped in daily chores and dogmas, like a spider is caught in its web! Only 2% people, who are successful have been able to break of the bondage to show the true meaning of the passion!

If each one of us leaves true to self and works for self, the world would be full of ideas and solution, rather than fights and bickering. We would see humans around rather than mindless machines!
Let's promise ourselves humanity.
Lets promise ourselves honesty and promise our heart a life it craves!

Rise above the realms of being a Manager – Be a Leader!

Compassion, Involvement, Goal orientation and Determination define a True Leader

Are you proud of your boss? Or you wish to be a boss yourself? Are you happy carrying the title of Manager or do you wish to rise above that?

A come trait among all of us is, we are happy being whatever we are, although not satisfied. We want to be rise above, but we don’t want to work towards it. All of us have goals in our lives, but we don't have the determination to work towards our goal. The goal is not something that looks good on your paper gives you happiness looking at it, but it is something that makes you come alive, makes you want to work more, makes you want to give more than hundred percent, and something that you want from the depths of your heart.

A true leader understands this. A true leader knows various traits of human beings and how to utilise them towards the common good of all. Sometimes people need to be delegated responsibility, other times they work better with the deadlines and yet at times they need to be pushed around. There are people need to be beaten to get the work done, whereas other class of people just need the direction, and leader identifies the various traits and how to utilize and use that for the greater good.
The following are the major qualities that a leader should possess:

1.       Compassion: leader should be compassionate towards her subject. She should be working day in and day out with the people. She should feel their pain, problems and needs. She should also know how success truly makes her subject happy, and how her subjects define happiness/success. She should be one with her people.

2.       Involvement: a true leader is always involved with people. This does not mean the leader would participate in every activity alongside the individual, but it means that whenever the subjects are obstructed or lack vision or direction, a leader should come to help them out. A leader should not take all the responsibilities onto her shoulders, but should be able to mentor her audience how to fish. A true leader is the one that makes leader.

3.       Goal orientation and vision: a leader should be goal oriented. She should be focused and determined to achieve that goal. She should think in long-term. A leader should be visionary and should be able to identify and capitalize on the needs five, ten or twenty years since. A leader must focus on the goal irrespective of the obstacles, hindrances in short-term shortcomings. A leader should overcome all the shortcomings and walk and make others walk towards the goal.

4.       Determination: a life of leader is always planted with obstacles. People like Steve Jobs, Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King or Nelson Mandela truly found it difficult to survive, not just because of the situations or resources, but because of surrounding people. Galileo was never respected when he was alive. People did not believe him, but that did not stop him. He was convinced of himself and was determined to change - change the way we perceive things, we work or we think. A true leader should always be determined and focused, no matter what the people say!

A leader is not born, but created. In the current environment, where competition is so intent, we don’t need managers; we need leaders, who go out of their way to serve the needs of people, of organization and of the society.

Do you wish to be great? Utilize your powers!!!

The Magic bestowed upon mankind – The ability to listen!

Mankind has often been ignorant of the beauty of life and things surrounding us, of our powers, wisdom and intellect. We waste most of our time gossiping, whining, complaining or doing such unwanted stuff. And amidst such unwanted activities, we knowing ignore the greatest power that we are provided with – the power to hear and understand, i.e. the power to listen.

Innumerous pearls are spilled around us through the mouths of people, although they themselves never realize the wisdom in their words. Have you ever heard a great business idea or some sound plan or a breakthrough solution to some problem by totally naïve denizens? People chatter and gossip and complain, without actually thinking. Hence many a times, they fail to realize themselves of the great wisdom they have, and if you keep your ears and mind open, you’ll get a lot of knowledge and ideas, solutions and answers.

The power of listening does not just apply to the words of strangers, but it is alike for the people YOU converse with. When talking to someone, listen deeply. Most of the times we are so engrossed in our thoughts that we don’t care what is being said, we are totally ignorant of their words and wisdom. At other times, we are so desperate to speak ourselves rather than listen to them.

The listening is not just limited to ideas or wisdom, but when you listen, people start liking you, and they respect you. Listening to them makes them feel better, and the next time you’ll say, they’ll listen to you whole heartedly. In words of a poet, listening makes lovers of friends and friends of strangers!
The greatest souls on the planet never itched to be heard, neither were they desperate to get their points across, they just listened deeply, and replied sincerely, putting in all their wisdom in their answer. That is what makes you great!

Listen to yourself as well. When you stop forcing thoughts, day dreams and other worldly talks onto your mind in your free time, your mind has a lot many things for you. The greatest ideas spur when you are quiet enough to listen to your soul. So listen! Keep your mind open, and years even more keen and open!
